A free alternative to the Moz backlink checker
Moz Link Explorer limits free lookups per day. Here you can check any domain’s backlinks, referring domains and a 0–100 Domain Rating without an account.
Authority score without the daily cap
Type a domain to see its Domain Rating, backlinks and referring domains plus the top referring sites and anchors. There is no daily lookup cap on the free report.
Domain Rating is not Domain Authority
Moz Domain Authority is a machine-learned score from Moz’s own index; our Domain Rating is a logarithmic score of referring domains in ours. Both run 0–100 and both help rank sites against each other, but a site can score quite differently on each. Use one tool consistently when comparing.
For developers
If you were using the Moz Links API for authority and backlink data, the backlink API offers comparable fields with per-call pricing and free Domain Rating lookups.
