Before you plan outreach, you need to know how far behind you are. This table puts up to five domains next to each other on the four numbers that matter most: Domain Rating, total backlinks, referring domains and dofollow links.

What to look at first

Compare referring domains. If a competitor has ten times your backlinks but only twice your referring domains, most of their advantage is repetition, not reach, and closing it is cheaper than it looks. If the referring-domain gap is also large, you are looking at a long campaign, and it pays to find out where their best links come from.

About the numbers

The data is our own index of the public web built from Common Crawl, refreshed roughly monthly. Treat it as a consistent yardstick across all the sites in the table rather than an exact count of every link on the web.
