Domain Rating checker: the DR of any domain in one request
Type a domain and get its Domain Rating on a 0–100 scale together with the number of backlinks and referring domains behind it. Checking a list instead? The API takes up to 2,000 domains per call.
What Domain Rating means here
Domain Rating is a logarithmic 0–100 score of how many different sites link to a domain, computed across our whole link graph. Because it is logarithmic, going from 20 to 30 takes far fewer new referring domains than going from 70 to 80.
Our DR is our own metric
It is comparable in spirit to the authority scores other tools show, but it is not the same number: those tools use different crawlers and different formulas. Use it to rank and filter domains against each other, which is what most people checking a DR actually need.
When one domain at a time is not enough
Vetting a list of prospects, sorting a disavow candidate sheet or enriching a database means thousands of lookups. The bulk_dr action accepts up to 2,000 domains in one request and returns DR, backlinks and referring domains for each. The single-domain lookup is free and needs no key.
Reading a DR in context
A high DR with very few referring domains usually means a handful of powerful links; a mid DR with many referring domains is often a broader, more resilient profile. Check both numbers before deciding whether a site is worth a link.
