Free backlink checker: type a domain, see who links to it
Paste any domain and get its Domain Rating, backlink and referring-domain counts, the strongest referring sites, the anchors used and the pages that attract links — straight from our own crawl of the public web. No account needed.
What the checker shows
The report is built from a link graph of 181 million domains and 2.7 billion links. For the domain you enter you get a Domain Rating on a 0–100 scale, the number of backlinks and of distinct referring domains, the share of links that are dofollow, the biggest referring sites, the most common anchor texts and the target pages that collect the most links.
How to read it
Start with referring domains rather than raw backlinks: one site linking from every page of its footer can add millions of backlinks and still be a single vote. Then look at the anchors. A natural profile is dominated by the brand name and the bare URL; a profile where one commercial phrase repeats hundreds of times deserves a closer look at who placed those links.
The top-pages list shows which URLs actually earn links. If the home page carries almost everything, your content is not pulling its weight; if a guide from three years ago does, update it before a competitor does.
Limits worth knowing
The index is built from Common Crawl, a broad sample of the public web refreshed roughly monthly. A link added last week may not be there yet, and coverage is smaller than the proprietary crawlers of the large SEO suites. Domain Rating here is our own metric: use it to compare sites inside the same tool, not against numbers from other products.
